Since 1959, "Jack's" has been serving the needs of the church and Christian community of the Delmarva area and beyond. While a senior in high school, Jack began his business/ministry, realizing the need in the Salisbury area for religious supplies. The beginning (in Jack's bedroom) led to a room in his family home. Later a second room was added. In 1963, Jack graduated from (now known as) Salisbury University and married Ruth Ann Rogers, from Laurel, Delaware, the same week. Jack and Ruth Ann have been partners in marriage, ministry, and business, since that day. The business moved to a first floor apartment and Jack and his new bride lived in a second floor apartment over the store. As the business continued to grow another move was necessary. Jack and Ruth Ann moved the store upstairs downtown. Did you get that move? The Camden Street location was good and business continued to increase. Soon "Jack's" outgrew this location and property was purchased at 301 Snow Hill Road. This building served us well for over 20 years. In 1989, "Jack"s" moved to a much larger facility at 701 Snow Hill Road, just 4 blocks south of our former location. We served our customers for over another 20 years in this building. In 2009, after serving in this area for 50 years, Jack and Ruth Ann gave consideration to retirement and slowing down a bit. After a large sale, the doors of Jack's Religious Gift Shop were closed on January 16, 2010. This is not the end of the story. Jack and Ruth Ann continued to have a love and a passion for this minstry. God worked it all in his plan. We are now located in a building directly behind the store, where we served for so many years. Our main focus is on church supplies, so we do trade under a new name, Jack's Church Supplies. However, we can still meet many of your personal and church needs through this website and by contacting us for an appointment.
